MathPsych @Psychonomics Satellite Meeting 2024

About MathPsych @Psychonomics Satellite Meeting 2024

The Society for Mathematical Psychology is again organizing a satellite meeting at the 2024 meeting of the Psychonomic Society. The satellite meeting will be held on the 4th floor of the New York Marriott Marquis on November 21 at 9am.

Welcome message

The theme of this year's meeting is Memory in the Wild. We will bring together researchers to share perspectives on different experimental paradigms, modeling approaches, and challenges of studying human memory in scenarios that resemble real-world and naturalistic settings.

The invited speakers will discuss realistic experimental paradigms, nontraditional stimuli such as movies and events, and memory for experiences in the real world. Speakers at this year's satellite meeting are: Chris Baldassano, Morgan Barense, Sudeep Bhatia, Lila Davachi, Mike Kahana, Marcelo Mattar, Peggy L. St. Jacques, and Qiong Zhang.

A poster session will accompany the satellite meeting.
